Clasico – Pastor Burger!
9615 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79925
Overall Bites:
Value: $9 and I got this juicy tender burger with pastor, melted cheese, and pineapple (because you can’t have pastor without pineapple).
Taste: Salted correctly, juicy meat patty, crisp fries, the pineapple was great. It wasn’t too sweet but added just the correct amount of freshness to the burger.
Presentation: Alright guys, it’s not hard to assemble a burger, and these guys know how to get it right. The plating that they use was super cute, hipster(ish). I mean just look at the photos!
Vibe: I’m big on vibes guys. These guys are cool, easy to talk to, super friendly and recommend a burger without asking. Not to mention, the music was great.
Accessibility: Clasico runs along Montana and McRae! Super easy to find, but parking is a hassle sometimes (thats how good they are). They also have another location on the west side.
It was dinner time and I was catching up with a friend around 8:30 in the evening, we’ve been here before but I’ve never had a burger from here and thought, WELL, lets try one! I’ve been in the burger mood lately (I promise no more burger reviews for a bit though).
Sesame seed bun, melted cheese, al pastor, pineapple, and the meat patty all went together profoundly nice. It also came with lettuce, onions, tomatoes on the side but I had it without and it was PERFECT. Guys…GUYS the only reason I gave Clasico 4 Bites was because of the amount of fries I received with my burger. I was like ‘Hey what happened to the rest of the potato?’ but that didn’t take away from the taste, which is why I ordered more!
The service was great! The waiter was smiling, had a good attitude, checked on me constantly so high five to that guy making me feel important! I’m giving these guys 4 Bites! Thanks Clasico, I’m definitely going back!
